HELP US SUPPORT OUR ACTIVE TROOPS AND THEIR FAMILIES
Post 76 has adopted Charlie and Delta Company (Vegas Desert Rats) of the 405th Civil Affairs Battalion. We support both their Family Readiness Group (FRG) and the Yellow Ribbon Program. See the links on the Links page to learn more about our brave volunteers looking toward winning the peace in a distant land.
ROD AND GUN CLUB
Post 76 has formed a Rod and Gun Club Committee to explore interest in sponsoring outdoor sports social events. Activities will include Shooting outings at the Clark County Range about once per quarter on a Saturday, camping out at a cabin near Ely, and sponsoring a Junior Shooting Team (air rifles).
JOIN A POST:
Members are not restricted to a Post, and this area is merely to give Legionnaires a chance to attend meeting close to them. There are many other Posts in the Las Vegas area that offer special programs such as a Post Home (Post 8) and American Legion Riders (Post 149). Legionnaires can belong to any Post they choose depending upon the receiving Post accepting their membership.
We would like to welcome any conflict period veteran to our Post. The eligibility requirements for membership in the American Legion are as follows:
If you have served federal active duty in the United States Armed Forces during any of the war eras listed below, and have been honorably discharged or are still serving — you are eligible for membership in the American Legion!
